Job Purpose
As the Managing Director, you will be reporting to the Board of Directors, providing strategic leadership, ensure implementation of board decisions, establish management systems aligned to strategic goals, improve operational efficiency, and ensure statutory compliance.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
As a prospective candidate of the positions, the following qualities are needed from you:
- Kenyan Citizen (attach copy of National ID or passport).
- Bachelor’s degree in: Business Management, Economics, Agribusiness, Water/Environmental/Civil Engineering, Law, Water Resources Management, Project Management or related.
- Master’s degree in relevant discipline is an added advantage.
- Registered with relevant professional body.
- Certificate in corporate governance (4 weeks) OR two CPD certificates.
- Minimum 15 years experience, with 10 years at senior management level (public/private).
- Understanding of strategic change & reforms in Kenya’s water/sanitation legal framework.
- Excellent interpersonal & leadership: strategy execution, stakeholder delight, people management.
- Compliance with Chapter 6 of Constitution 2010: Clearances from HELB, DCI, KRA, CRB & EACC upon selection
