Duties and Responsibilities
1. Records Management Assistant II
- Listing incoming correspondence in the register
- Register outgoing correspondence
- Distributing files to action officers
- Receiving files for action officers
- Receiving files returning to the registry from Executives
- Returning files to racks/filling cabinets or other storage locations
- Monitoring the circulation of files within the Institution (file tracking)
2. Dereva Daraja II (Driver II)
- Inspecting the vehicle before and after the trip to determine the vehicle’s safety status
- Sending employees to various locations on business trips
- Performing minor vehicle repairs
- Filling in and maintaining all trip information in the trip log
- Collecting and distributing various documents
- Car cleaning
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Records Management Assistant II
Remuneration: TGS C
- To be employed by someone who has completed Form Four (IV) or Form Six (VI) Education, who has completed a Diploma (NTA level 6) in the field of Record Keeping from Government-recognized Institutions, and who has computer skills.
2. Dereva Daraja II (Driver II)
Remuneration: TGS B
- To be employed, holders of Form IV and Class E or C driving licenses, which they have worked for not less than one (1) year without causing an accident, along with training certificates that qualified them to obtain the relevant classes.
- They must have attended the Basic Driving Course provided by VETA College or another College recognized by the Government.
